It was the second time in the tournament's history that both finalists were from the same city. Real Madrid won 5–3 on a penalty shoot-out after a 1–1 draw at the end of extra time, securing a record-extending 11th title in the competition.

In Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron James scored 33 points, Kevin Love had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Cleveland Cavaliers secured straight trip to the NBA Finals by beating Toronto Raptors 113-87. In Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, the Golden State Warriors will face Oklahoma City Thunder Monday in Oakland. 

2016 Playoffsはいよいよ最終ステージに差しかかった。Game 7までもつれ込んだWCFも、30日には決着がつく。ECFは27日に早々とCavsが決勝進出を決めている。衆目の一致するところ、去年と同じWarriors vs Cavaliersに落ち着くと見られているが、まだまだ勝負は即断はできない。
