Originally announced on December 25th, adidas Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) collection will begin releasing in August with the “Son Goku” Adidas ZX 500 RM and the “Frieza” Adidas Young 1. All eight shoes from DBZ collection  will release from August to December concludes in December with Shenlong and Super Shenlong and the upcoming EQT Mid ADV.

adidasが1月に発表していたDragon Ball Z Collaborationの詳細内容が明らかになった。8月のSon goku（ZX500 RM）を皮切りに、12月のShenlong（EQT ADV MID）、Super Shenlong（EQT ADV MID）まで８モデルが逐次市場投入される。いずれもadidas有力モデルをベースにした力作ぞろいである。

Nike celebrates Serena Williams' return to Paris' clay with this special-edition Nike Blazer. Emirate FA Cup has teamed up with the # CupCollective to design limited edition Air Force 1s, an exclusive Emirates FA Cup shirt, a mural, and stills from an animated video short celebrating the iconic football tournament. The special limited edition bespoke FA Cup Nike Air Force 1s are part of the #CupCollective ― an exclusive collection of art and fashion pieces. Only ten pairs of each design will put into production.

2018 FA Cup Final（第137回）が5月19日Wembley Stadium（London）で開催され、ChelseaManchester Unitedを1-0で降し優勝した。The Football Association（FA）は大会に合わせてロンドンのクリエイティブチームとNikeのコラボレーションで、 FA Cup trainerを5月19日限定発売した。わずか20足の限定発売だが、これがまた素晴らしいできで、なんでもっと大量に販売しないのか納得できないほどの仕上りのモデルだった。

Adidas 2018 Pride Pack

Adidas has revealed its new Pride Pack to recognize LGBT Pride Month globally. The company has reworked four of its main shoe lines with new color schemes. LGBT Pride Month is always held a specific month to honor an important event. Adidas release its Campus, Deerupt, PureBOOST DPR and I-5923 lines to reflect LGBT Pride and recognize LGBT people throughout the world.

アメリカのLGBT運動はStonewall riot（1969年6月28日）、LGBT Pride month（1978年）以降着実に拡大してきた。６月はLGBTの抵抗と解放のシンボルマンスである。Sneaker BrandのLGBT活動はこれまでNikeが優位をとってきたが、今年はadidasも2016年を憩える本格参入に踏み切った。

adidas Ultra Boost Mid Prototype

The adidas Ultra Boost Mid is a mid-top version of the Ultra Boost running shoe from adidas. It features sock-like construction with a mix of Primeknit over boost cushioning.  The shoe dubbed the Prototype, and it features the cuffed ankle, alternate color-blocking on the suede toe-guard and leather three-stripes logo, and the heel-stripe of the shoe.  Arrives in volt/Blue color, and releases May 26, 2018.

Nike Cortez Kenny III

Nike release of the Cortez Kenny III, the predominantly black colorway of Kendrick Lamar’s collaboration with Nike Sportswear. Nike set up six pop-up shop locations in conjunction with six sneaker boutiques across the nation. The Collaboration includes hoodies, tees, hats, and the Nike Cortez Kenny III, and the shoes sold out in under one minute via a special Nike SNKRS Stash release event in Los Angeles.

Nikeは今年３回目のCortez Kennyを5月9日発売した。今回は漢字ロゴ「该死的」はエンボスのみで、控えめなロゴ表現になっている。中国語だからといって、あんな言葉をスニーカーに使用するのは、あまり行儀良いことではない。Nikeは女性差別だけでなく、言葉にも注意すべきである。

Nike x Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Air Mowabb

The Nike Air Mowabb, released in 1991, was conceived by Tinker Hatfield as the supreme cross-trainer for the adventurer (bike, hike, boulder? No problem for it). The shoe represented a new kind of thinking for outdoor equipment, furthered by its unique “leave no trace” outsole pattern designed to minimize the wearer’s footprint and reduce degradation to the environment. Nike Mowabb reborn as Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Collaboration last January at Spring 2018 Paris Menswear Collection. 

1月19日開催されたComme des Garçons Homme Plusの2018 Paris Menswear Collectionで、NikeLab ACG Air Mowabbの新モデルがランウエイに登場した。2014年末にニューコンセプトのcapsule collectionが発表されたが、その後はほとんどなりを潜めていた。Nikeは最近なんでも売る気になっているから、今回は期待できるかもしれない。

Mark Parker CEO apologized to employees Thursday 3rd of May, for allowing a corporate culture that excluded some staff and failed to take seriously complaints about workplace issues.

Barneys’ 6th BNY Sole Series with Clearweather

To close out Spring/Summer 2018 BNY Sole Series, the retailer worked with Clearweather, a newcomer to footwear collaboration project. The label was founded in 2014 by Josh and Brandon Brubaker, it really brings a top-notch design element to the sneaker world. "They do such a fantastic job sourcing inspiration from classic silhouettes and then truly make their shoes their own,” says Barneys Senior Men’s Footwear buyer Chris Pepe.

Barneys New Yorkは2018年 BNY Sole Series 第6弾 "Clearweather" を5月8日発売した。Clearweatherはアスレチックフットウエアブランドではないが、Nike Air Force、Blazer、adidas NMD、Vans Slip-Onを巧みにアレンジしていて、並みのライフスタイルブランドとはアレンジ能力が一味も二味も違う。2015年にスタートしたBarneys New Yorkのコラボレーションプロジェクトで、これだけのアレンジ能力を発揮したのはClearweatherが初めてである。

Now the Sneaker have inspiration from the final frontier, After releasing a recent lunar-landing inspired Air Force 1, the  latest Air Huarache arrived with lunar-landing astronaut print on the insole.

Converse x Virgil Abloh Chuck 70
