Army-Navy Game 2016; Army's 21-17 victory

The U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Military Academy football teams have played each other since 1890 in what many call the best rivalry in college sports. For the first time since 2001, Army has gotten the victory in its annual showdown with Navy, grinding out a 21-17 victory by running 70 times and holding the ball for more than two-thirds of the game at M&T Bank Stadium.  President-elect Donald Trump attended the game on Saturday. 

カレッジフットボールシーズンの最後を飾る、Navy MidshipmenとArmy Black Knights対抗戦が12月10日行われた。Navyは2002年から破竹の14連勝。観戦には陸軍将官贔屓のRonald Trumpもやってきたから、Armyはここで負けては面子丸潰れ。伝統の一戦はいやがうえにも盛り上がった。

The adidas Flashback succeed adidas' design heritage while looking forward to the future. The new women's shoes modernise the vintage Dragon, a fan-favourite running shoe in the 1970s, and it featured with a clean silhouette and an adaptive adidas Primeknit upper. adidas NYC: Global Flagship store, New York

adidas opened adidas NYC on 5th Avenue and 46 stret, Thursday December 1. The store confirmed a new era in how consumers experience and sport in stores. Inspired by high school stadiums, adidas NYC provide life and sport through the new stadium retail concept. The store features a tunnel entrance, stands for live-game viewing on big screens, locker rooms instead of dressing rooms and track and field areas where consumers can test and experience products.

adidasが世界最大の直営ストアadidas NYCをマンハッタンに出店した。推定賃料は年間1億ドル前後とみられちるが、ストアコンセプトは1990年に登場したNiketownとほとんど同じである。adidasがNikeとのギャップを埋めるのは容易なことではない。

The 2016 Rockefeller Center Tree light up New York City

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a world-wide symbol of the holidays in New York City. The 2016 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was lit for the first time on Wednesday, November 30, with live performances from 7–9pm, at Rockefeller Plaza. Thousands crowded the sidewalks for the event and millions watched it live across the globe. The Tree will remain lit and can be viewed until 9pm on January 7, 2017.

The show featured musical performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, The Weekend. Angele Jasmine Tookes was wearing the Bright Night Fantasy Bra: worth $3,000,000. The show will be aired in 190 countries  by CBS on Saturday December 5.

Nike released 3 exclusive Air Forces at Nike Soho for the opening of Nike Soho. The trio of exclusive colorways dubbed the Air Force 1 “NYC,” features 30 years' worth of Air Force 1 icons and graphics. It will be available exclusively at the new Nike Soho store, opening November 18 at 529 Broadway. 

11月18日にオープンしたNike Sohoは、近隣ストアや住民から、ブティックゾーンになんでこんなけたたましいコンサート会場みたいなストアを作ったんだと苦情が巻き起こった。しかしオープニング記念に発売されたAir Force 1 “NYC”は押し寄せた客には好評だった。
