The Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red exhibit at the
Tower of London in 2014 on the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War
I which consists of 888,246 ceramic poppies, one for each British and colonial
death.
2014年のEUは、各国で多くの歴史的行事や国家的行事が開催された。 ”D-Day 70”、WW1 centenary events、The 25th anniversary of the fall
of the Berlin Wallといった多くの歴史的行事がヨーロッパ中で開催された。しかし最も感動的な行事はTower
of London Remenbers “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red”だっただろう。
