The 2017 Chinese New Year collection was launched by a lot of sneaker brands including Nike, adidas Under Armour. They celebrate the Year of theRooster. The collection combines modern silhouettes with Chinese styled imagery inspired by zodiac character in the classic Chinese story.

2012年のYear of the Dragonをきっかけに、世界のスニーカーブランドにChinese New Year（CNY）ブームも巻き起こったのである。2012年はRetro Trainerブームもスタートしたが、コレクションを発売した。Retro Trainerブームは2016年で終焉したが、CNYブームも下降線をたどっている。

The Vans Half Cab White Suede

Skate legend Steve Caballero launched his first signature shoe with Vans in 1989. In 1992, the original high-top style for Caballero was revised to the Half Cab after he saw skaters cutting their sneakers and using duct tape to secure them. The mid top sneaker sports in a tonal upper that comes done in cream/off-white suede. The Half Cab branding on the tongue and by the ankle have been done in black, while The signature Vans branding on the heel comes in red.

Federer wins fifth Australian Open and 18th Grand Slam title

In a stunning match befitting of the occasion, Roger Federer defeated long-time rival Rafael Nadal to win Australian Open 2017, his 18th major title. The full set victory handed Federer his first major title in four-and-a-half years. The win also gave Federer his first win over Nadal at a Grand Slam event since Wimbledon 2007.

One of the greatest Grand Slam finals had come to a thrilling end. One match point came and went, but on the second, Federer struck a winning forehand. Nadal challenged the call, but in vain.

Australian Open 最終日、1月29日行われた男子決勝はRoger Federerがフルセットの末Rafael Nadal を降して7年ぶり通算5度目の優勝を果たした。フルセットで迎えた第9ゲーム、マッチポイントはNadalのチャレンジが失敗して決着するという思いがけない幕切れとなった。

Serena Williams beat sister Venus in straight sets to win her seventh Australian Open with a 6-4 6-4 victory taking her seventh Australian Open crown. Serena has won a record 23rd Grand Slam women’s singles title, Steffi Graf in the all-time list of major winners since the Grand Slams accepted professional players in 1968. The American regains the number one ranking from German Angelique Kerber.

Australian Open はいよいよ最終マッチに到達した。1月27日行われた女子決勝はSerena Williams、Venus Williams の姉妹対決で、Serenaが優勝し、通算優勝23回のグランドスラムレコードを達成した。29日には男子決勝でRoger FedererとRafael Nadalが対戦する。

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Black” and “Zebra”

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will bring two new colorways with Primeknit and Boost midsole. The shoe will return in a simple “Black” colorway on February 11th while a more head-turning “Zebra” aesthetic will launch on February 25th. Both upcoming colorways feature a vibrant red “SPLY-350” logo on the sidepanel.

J. Crewは2017年最初のNew Balance Collaborationを998 でスタートした。この数年間業績は最悪だが、New Balanceとのコラボレーションは好評で、毎年1月にはNew Balance 998のコラボレーションで新年をスタートしてきた。去年のニューイヤーモデルは“Midnight Moon”だったが、今年は極彩色の鳥からインスパイアした“Toucan”だった。

These personalized services exist in an all-new building located at 1035 Lincoln Road, featuring Miami-specific design elements that facilitate natural light and create natural synergy with the promenade.

Nikeは1991年にNiketown Portlandを開発して、スポーツメガストアのスタンダードを創造した。しかしそれ以降幾多のストアを開発してきたが、Niketownを超えるストアをついに生み出すことができなかった。2016年11月のNike Sohoに続いて、1月19日にはNike Miamiをオープンしたが、いずれも未来に向かう画期的なストアとは言い難い。
