Nikeは2015年に25周年を迎えたAir Max 90を大量投入し、世界中にWhite Trainer Boomを巻き起こした。2017年はAir Max１の30周年で、1月からAir Max１の大量投入に着々と布石を打ってきた。すでにAir Max Day Collection発売（3月2日）を発表しているが、さらにAir Max 90 Ultra Flyknitも3月2日に追加投入することも明らかにした。3月26日のAir Max DayにはAir Max Zero、Air Max１、Air Max 90が全世界で氾濫することになる。
