In the first day of spring, Barney is hatching two new sneaker styles as part of their 2018 BNY Sole Series footwear project. This exclusive collaboration between Barney team and adidas includes fresh takes on the Stan Smith and Rod Laver classics. “In their previous adidas partnerships, they’ve only designed with leather, and Barney wanted to experiment with a white suede this time around,” explains Senior Men’s Footwear Buyer Chris Pepe.
2015年にスタートしたBarneys New Yorkのコラボレーションプロジェクト "BNY Sole Series" が今年も帰ってきた。今年のトップバッターはadidas Stan SmithとRod Laverである。2018年はHybrid Txtile Trainer 全盛時代に入っているが、Chris Pepe（Barneys Senior Men’s Footwear Buyer）のディレクションとなると並みのスニーカーブティックなどとはひと味もふた味も違うチョイスを打ち出すのである。
