NikeはBlazer Mid SW（５月24日発売）に続き、パステルトーンの Blazer Royal Spring Patchworkを投入した。Mid SWに劣らない力作で、6月7日発売予定のAir VaporMax Flyknit 2 Triple Whiteを加えれば、2018 Nike Summer White TrainerのBest 3は上記３モデルでほぼ決まりである。adidasもUltra Boost Clima、F/22、Futurecraftなどを繰り出しているが、5月の投入モデルはNikeが圧倒している。midsummerに向けて、どちらが優位を占めるか予断を許さない状況になってきた。
