2017年3月のAir Max Dayに向けて発売されたAir VaporMaxは間もなく1年を迎える。当初はほとんどギミックと思われたAir unitは時間の経過つれて市民権を獲得し、新カテゴリーに成長しつつある。これまではカラーオプション投入中心だったが、2017年末から一転してアッパーを既存モデルとクロスオーバーさせたHybridスタイルのメイクオーバーに切り替えられた。今後数年で新ドメインを確立するにちがいない。
