The USA held their nerve against neighbours and old rivals Canada to win a dramatic shootout 3-2 in the women's Ice Hockey gold medal match at Pyeongchang 2018, the first Olympic title in the event since the inaugural competition at Nagana 1998, on Thursday 22 February.
2018 Winter Olympics アイスホッケー女子決勝でTeam USA womens hockey teamが宿敵Canadaを3-2（GWS）で降し、1998長野大会以来5大会、20年ぶりの金メダルを獲得した。カナダは2002年以来の5連覇を逸した。Winter Olympicsは大会最後の金メダルをかけて行われる伝統の一戦、男子アイスホッケー決勝戦が25日に行われる。
