 After the successful debut of the Roshe Run, Nike has release Tanjun in an effort to create yet another successful lifestyle silhouette. The Tanjun named after the Japanese word for "simplicity," offers a streamlined, modern design for an elevated everyday look.

NPD Group（Port Washington, New York）が2月11日に発表した「2017 Best-seling shoes」によれば、1位はNike Tanjunだった。販売足数べースの比較で、市場インパクトやポピュラリティーを反映するランキングでは無いが、Tanjunは北米市場で最もポピュラーなスニーカーである。
