An enthusiastic fans rearranged work schedules and drove six hours through the night. They packed up Ryne Sandberg jerseys and W rally towels and winter hats. An enthusiastic fan of all ages descended Tuesday on downtown Cleveland. This is a dream come true that hasn't happened since 1945.

いよいよWorld Seriesが始まった。Cubsは108年、Indiansは68年ぶりの優勝がかかった大一番。どちらが勝ってもファンが歓喜に湧くのは間違いない。しかも隣のアリーナではCavaliersの開幕戦が行われているとあって、クリーブランドはクリスマスとお正月が一緒にやってきたような騒ぎになった。
