With an
advanced design considered ahead of its time in the '90s, the original 1994 Tubular
running shoes cradled the foot over a tube-like platform inspired by tires. The
sock-like adidas Primeknit upper hugs feet and features space-dyed yarn for a
mélange effect. A tech-inspired midfoot cage and heel strap add support and a
rippled outsole echoes the iconic Tubular style.
adidasが2017年初頭に発売したTubular Zoomは、いまひとつ中途半端なデザインに終わった。しかし5月に発売されたTubular Nova Primeknitは、Tubular Zoomのアドバンストバージョンとも思えるリファインされたコスメチックで、この分だとUltra Boostに次ぐadidas Summer Trainerのダークホースとして大いに期待できそうな雲行きになってきた。
