2017 NFL seasonが開幕した。オープニングゲームはGillette Stadium（Foxborough, MA）でNew England Patriot とKansas City Chiefsが対戦した。今年もPatriot は優勝候補最右翼とみられていたが、結果は42-24でChiefsが圧勝した。BelichickとBradyの黄金時代はそろそろ終わりつある。
