The 30-year-old
Kenyan won the Berlin Marathon in 2hr 2min 57sec, becoming the first man to
complete a marathon in under 2hr 3min. The previous record of 2-03-23 was set
by another Kenyan, Wilson Kipsang, in Berlin last year.
Kimetto（KEN）は世界記録を26秒短縮する世界新記録で優勝した。Paris、London,
Bostonでエチオピアに３連敗していたケニアは、上位10位中７人をを占め、リベンジを果たした。
