The Air Tech Challenge III, launched in 1991 as the
Air Tech Challenge ¾, included visible air in the heel and a
flexible encapsulated Nike Air-sole unit in the forefoot. The Air Tech
Challenge also installed tennis ball-inspired neon yellow pop on the heel cup.
For Agassi, it represented an evolution in on-court aesthethics that, like many
models in his signature line, resonated off the court.
8月31日にスタートするU.S. Openに向けて、NikeはRetro
Tennis Trainerを次々に発売している。8月20日にはAgassiが1992年にWimbledon初優勝した時着用していたAir Tech
Challenge IIIも登場した。
