Times Square will celebrate the 70th Anniversary
of the most famous kiss in American history during the Times Square Kiss-In on
August 14th 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The iconic photograph was captured between an
American sailor and nurse on August 14th, 1945, marking the end of World War
II.
Alfred Eisenstaedtが1945年8月14日にタイムスクエアで撮影したセーラーとナースのキスシーンは、V-J Day in Times Squareと呼ばれアメリカの歴史に残る写真として有名である。今年は70周年を記念してKiss-Inイベントが開催された。
