Vans announces its forthcoming collaboration with
Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. Vans and Murakami come together
to present a deluxe, limited edition range of footwear, apparel and skate decks
through Va’ premium label Vault by Vans. Sneakers like
the Era, Slip-On and Sk8-Hi are covered completely in Murakami’s
anime-inspired “Superflat” characters
Disneyとのコラボレーションコレクションを発売したばかりのVansが、今度は村上隆とのコラボレーションを発表した。VansはNikeやadidasとは一味違ったR&D路線で、独自のスタイルを発展させてきた。今回のコラボレーションが成功すれば、もう一つ新しいディメンション開拓につながる。
